Organic Native Corn Starch

Organic Native Corn Starch is produced by mashing, washing and drying of specially cultivated organic corn. This 100% organic native corn starch provides formulators with natural functionality for food applications requiring traditional starch characteristics, including thickening, gelling, and stabilizing properties.

The native processing preserves the natural granular structure of corn starch, delivering effective gel formation upon heating. In water-based systems, the starch gelatinizes at ~80°C to form a high viscous paste that forms into a smooth, short-structured gel upon cooling. This makes it particularly suitable for Puddings and Dessert Creams, Sauces, Soups, Canned Foods & Frozen Meals, Pastries, and Confectionery applications such as Jams and Jellies.
