Waxy Rice Starch

Waxy Rice Starch is an unmodified, native starch extracted from Non-GMO waxy rice. The unique feature of waxy rice is its increased presence of amylopectin which makes it exceptionally resistant to retrogradation. This ingredient offers superior stability and thickening capacity across Food applications such as Baked Goods, Snacks & Cereals, Baby Food and some Pharmaceutical formulations. This product is insoluble in fresh water and maintains a neutral odor and flavor as a white light powder.

This product also provides excellent resistance to gel breakdown, making it suitable for Cosmetic applications that require enhanced texture, stability and neutral organoleptic properties.
