Heliaflor® 45 — Organic Sunflower Protein Powder

Heliaflor® 45 features a higher fat content and strong water-binding capacity that suits bold flavors and darker colored products particularly well. In addition, its brownish color and more intensive taste make it ideal for applications where a robust profile is desired.

Heliaflor® 55 — Organic Sunflower Protein Powder

Heliaflor® 55 contains almost no fat, and CO₂ extraction reduces fat content and simultaneously increases protein content. In addition, this process leads to a higher fat-binding capacity. The result is a beige, neutral-tasting powder with excellent functional performance.

Textured Heliaflor® — Organic Textured Sunflower Protein

Made from 100% pure sunflower protein, Textured Heliaflor® impresses with its bold, nutty flavor. Because of this, it serves as the perfect meat substitute for dishes such as pasta bolognese, lasagna, chili, and tacos. Moreover, it processes both wet and dry, opening a wide range of plant-based applications.

Category 2: The High Oleic 50 Line — Enhanced Stability

The second category features four options from specially selected High Oleic 50 sunflower seeds. Following selection, these specialty seeds are peeled, partially defatted by mechanical process, and ground to a powder. Once this is finalized, each option delivers a protein source that is neutral in color, odor, and flavor. However, this line is highly stable and features good water and fat binding capabilities across all products.

Why does Oleic Acid content matter? Because ingredients with a higher Oleic Acid content (>70%) are highly desirable and offer increased stability across food & beverage applications. In addition, they serve as a healthier source of fatty acids.
